
Sweet Dreams Smoothie
This smoothie is comforting and delicious, and the perfect nighttime drink!
Bananas and almonds are rich in magnesium, which aids in stress control and is a powerful relaxation mineral and nutmeg is mother nature’s sedative.
This combo smoothie is so wonderful for helping you sleep better.
Ingredients:
1 Ripe banana (room temperature)
2 Tb raw almonds (pre-soaked is best)
1 Tb of flax seeds (chopped, can place in bullet to do this)
Pinch of ground nutmeg
1/2 to 1 cup of filtered water
1/2 Tp vanilla extract
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to blender.
Blend on high speed until completely smooth.
Adjust the consistency by adding more water if necessary.
Pour into your favorite mug or glass or two small ones + share with someone you love.
(Tip: Brown rice protein is also rich in magnesium and is a great addition to increase
overall nutritional value and helps with nighttime hunger)
